(Sacramento) – Assembly Speaker pro Tem Kevin Mullin’s (D-San Mateo) wants California’s presidential primary to have more clout. So, he’s authored Assembly Bill 84, which would move the California presidential primary election to Super Tuesday in 2020. “It’s time to Make California Count in presidential primary elections.  AB 84 will do just that,” Assemblymember Mullin said. “There is broad interest in giving California voters a greater voice in choosing presidential candidates.  I introduced AB 84 in January and have received positive bi-partisan feedback, since this bill benefits all California voters regardless of party affiliation.” Here’s more from Assemblymember Mullin.
